We thank you for your desire to volunteer with Fertile Ground! We have a couple areas where we could use your help.

MARKETING & OUTREACH COMMITTEE

The Fertile Ground Marketing and Outreach Committee is responsible for the promotion of the business for the purposes of increasing membership and volunteer engagement, building brand awareness, and communicating effectively with our target audiences. The Marketing and Outreach committee is responsible for ensuring members and volunteers remain engaged with programs, community meetings, and updates throughout the year, and for creating a welcoming atmosphere for potential prospects and conducting volunteer and membership sign-ups at events. The Marketing and Outreach Committee consists of many different functions and responsibilities including the following:

• Ambassador
• Outreach Team
• Social media management
• Photography/Videography
• Graphic design/marketing material creation
• Website development/hosting
• Other duties as requested by leadership

If you are skilled in any of these named areas of marketing, we’d love to have you as a part of our Fertile Ground Food Cooperative Marketing Team!

FINANCE COMMITTEE

The Fertile Ground Finance Committee is responsible for the overall management of the budget and financial activities. Finance Committee activities consist of the following:

• Annual budgeting
• Management of membership fees
• Financial transactions at events
• Cash/check handling
• Fundraising/Grant writing
• Other duties as requested by leadership

If you have skills/experience in finance, we’d love to have you as a member of the Fertile Ground Food Cooperative Finance team!

STRATEGIC PLANNING COMMITTEE

The Fertile Ground Strategic Planning Committee is responsible for coordinating the business plan and marketing study updates; identifying possible site locations; ensuring target points of the business development plan, and coordinating the development of the Governance document.
