Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Fertile Ground! Here are some areas where we could use your help.

ORGANIZING & OUTREACH 

The Organizing and Outreach Committee is responsible for increasing membership, encouraging and maintaining volunteer engagement, building brand awareness, and communicating effectively with our target audiences. If you're skilled in any of the following areas, we’d love to have you as a part of the team!

  • Ambassador
  • Outreach (e.g., representing Fertile Ground and staffing membership sign-ups at events)
  • Social media management
  • Photography/Videography
  • Graphic design/Marketing material creation
  • Website maintenance  

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT 

The Business Development Committee is responsible for the overall management of the budget and financial activities. If you have experience in any of the following areas, we'd love to have as part of the team!

  • Annual budgeting
  • Management of membership fees
  • Financial transactions at events
  • Cash/check handling
  • Fundraising/Grant writing

Solidarity Membership - $25

Retired? Student? Receive food assistance? No worries! Community members on fixed or limited incomes can purchase a member-owner share for $25. This share has all the benefits of general membership.
